This “BORING” video got 7.1 million views — and when you see why, you’ll rethink your whole social strategy. This is from Dr. Bronner’s, the soap with that text-heavy label. And it seems to defy social logic. The video isn’t funny or zippy. It’s just a list of employee benefits. A similar one of theirs got 6.5M views! Here’s why: It’s a classic example of SHOWING, not TELLING. This is critical in storytelling: When you SHOW a character doing something, it’s more memorable than just SAYING they did it. It’s true in brand communications too. Brands often think they need to MAKE A STATEMENT — to show their mission and values. But statements are performative and unpowerful. Dr. Bronner’s instead SHOWS what it does — which grabs consumers’ attention. So, ask yourself: “What am I TELLING people, that I could be SHOWING them?” It’ll make all the difference. Very informative
Love this
I do believe the novelty of fair pay and profit sharing is the star of the show here. You don’t need complicated ads when the company and product are genuinely good.
Love their toothpaste and will definitely support this company for their products and culture.
I’m not surprised. What a great place to work. That lunch looks fab. 💕
Also this just made every fanatic customer like me love them even more! They know their audience: mission and value driven purchasers.
Dr. Bronner’s is killing it with those views!
This is the opposite of show don't tell. It's a text heavy video that lists their great values.
